Natalia Iguiñiz

Natalia Iguiñiz graduated from plastic arts in the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Perú in 1995 and afterwards, studied a masters degree in Gender, Sexuality and public politics in the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Currently she works as a plastic artist, professor, and as a political activist. The work of Iguiñiz approaches questions regarding her immediate context as a woman and a citizen, doing an emphasis in problems that pass through topics on gender, feminism, human rights and maternity. The dialogue between different agencies, art groups and social organizations in Iguiñiz artwork reflect the diversity of actions and plastic proposals that go from painting and photography, to installations and interventions in public places.
